Literature Text

Ashley and Andy were walking along the street, holding hands, kissing eachother every few minuets and giggling like schoolgirls. The street was empty and the day was dark, a shadow hung over the world like a large rubber doll would cover an ant as it was dropped from the hand of a small child on it's way to school. Along the path sat a small black cat that hissed when you spoke satanic rituals to it, for the words angered the cat. The cat ran from you as a robber slowly made his way up behind you to cut your throat. As the blood leaves your body all you see is a pink dove making its way to it's home on the sun. It is a sun dove, the sun dove looks at you as you dance the macarena in the last moments of your life. Across the street a small child drops its ice cream and it splatters onto the sidewalk. A tear falls down its face like the cascades of ice falling off a glacier in the north pole, startling a young seal from it's nap. It cries to it's mother who squirms to comfort it while a killer whale makes it way across the ocean and gets stuck in a fishing net. The net is pulled in by a man who looks like your father, but is a mere shadow of his existance. In time the whale will learn the meaning of life and how he has wasted it taking the lives of polar bears and their young. On the other side of the world you and I walk along a long path of road leading to the woods. When we get there, you turn to me and pull a gun from your pocket, asking if I want to shoot a tree with it. You stole the gun from your neighbor, who is blaing his son for the disappearance of the weapon. When he screams at his mother who does not beleve him, he is sent to his room. He writes a story about a bird that flies miles and miles in a single day, eventually going to live in Africa and saves an orphan child's life. The orphan child grows up to be the King of an unknown country off the coast of South America, not put on the map. A bird is disturbed by the rustle of leaves and takes flight, flying over the ocean to where you and I stand shooting the gun in the woods. While it flies, it knocks the gun sideways and makes you shoot me. As you look into my dying eyes I do one thing.

I give you a hamburger.
You'll either find this story funny or not.
