Chapter 11 - Sleep Forever Now My Darling, I Won't Dwell On Heaven's Calling


My feet went as fast as they could. Ashley would obviously be pissed off at me for hitting his new boyfriend or whatever the fuck him and Jake are, hate me forever and not talk to me. I didn't know what to do when he came up to us, he had that pissed off tone when he spoke and it snapped my heart.

"ANDY, Ashley's gone you ass I only wanted to make you Jealous so you would see him, notice him, and he asked to kiss Jake." CC yelled, running after me.

I rounded a corner and stopped. CC came blundering after me and ran smack into me, making both of us fall over. CC skidded slightly on the blue and white tile floor the sat up. I supported what weight I had on me with the wall.

"What did you say?" I panted, looking from the ground to him.

"The reason," he panted between every few words. "The reason I, I sent you that was because, Ashley..." he breathed in again and cleared his throat. "Ashley wanted to make you jealous is what I got from it."

"Make me jealous?"

Chuppy nodded. "Of him. That song? He sang it for you. I seriously think he likes you."

Hope made my insides squirm. I actually smiled. "You think so?"

CC nodded then raised his hand and slapped me across the face.

"What the fuck?!"

"Thats making me drop my cig, slamming Jake into a locker and running away from us." he said, grinning.

"I deserve that." I groaned, my face stinging.

As i was getting to my feet CC's phone rang, as did mine. A number I didn't know had sent me a video message. CC looked at his then at mine.

"Thats Ashley's number." CC said.

I opened the message, above the buffering video was a message. I read it out loud to CC, who was looking over my shoulder curiously.

"I know that you all don't know me well enough, and now you never will.  I was the one that asked Jake for a kiss, and CC decided he wanted one too.  So what? It wasn't as if you would have ever noticed me otherwise, Andy Biersack and now you will this way."  

"Never will? What is he talking about?" CC asked. I scrolled down.

Ashley went on. "Remember this, Andy." he cleared his throat and sniffed. "We have nowhere to go, no one to wish us well, the cry to find our home, our stories they will tell. We're bored to death in heaven, and all alone in hell, we only want to be ourselves. We scream, we shout, we are the fallen angels."

"That sounds like a song..." CC murmured.

I opened the video message, Ashley had the camera tilted down to his lap where he rest his wrist then took a switchblade and slid it across, making small beads of blood form and drip.

CC and I stared in horror as he shifted the camera to his face. He was crying, black lines stained his cheekbones. "Thanks for the kisses Jake and CC they were nice, I wish I could see what you all see in Andy.  We are Fallen." he said then ended the video.

I felt tears sting my eyes this time then fall freely down my face and to the floor. CC was pale, he had his hand over his mouth. Neither of us were breathing.

"Did he just...?" CC whispered.

I nodded, trying to fight the utter hysteria that was brewing inside me. "Where is he?" I whispered painfully.

"Park I think." CC sniffed and wiped his nose on his shirt sleeve. "You should go alone."

"W-why?" I muttered.

"Did he say 'I'm cutting my wrist because of CC'? No. Plus blood makes me feel weird."

"Fine."

I ran through the grassy yard, looking for the tree Ashley was against. It wasn't very well lit, seeing as much of the sky was covered by storm clouds and trees. I walked along the sidewalk path, kicking rocks out of the way and checking around every time I heard a noise. It was like being in a video game.

"Ashley!" I called "Ashleeeey!"

I couldn't hear anything but the rustle of the trees when the wind blew and my own unsteady foot steps. I called his name again, no answer.

"Ashley please where are you?" I was crying again, what if he's dead? Is that why he's now answering me? I called again, my voice cracking.

"Ashley!"

Out of nowhere an apple-sized rock clattered onto the pavement a few yards in front of me, making my heart stop. "Ashley?"

My pace quickened, I ran around the side of a tree and saw him. He was slouched back with his chin resting on his barely moving chest, dried blood stuck to his arms and the guitar that rest by his feet. I dropped down beside him and hugged him, his head resting lightly against my chest.

"Ashley! Ashley I'm so sorry I didn't know..." my voice broke with sobbs as I heald my crush...no, love's head to my chest. "Ashley please forgive me." I begged. "If you can hear me, forgive me, I'm so sorry I'm so sorry..."
