Chapter 7 - You Are My Sunshine.
I was laying on top of Andy, our hips pressed together and I had one knee on each side of his body, crouched slightly over his slim figure. His slid his hands over the small lump of my ass, warmly trainilg them down to my thighs and the inside of my legs. I reached down and took his hands and gently pinning them above his head, leaning forward and kissing his neck, sucking a loose patch of skin till it left a small pink hickey then drew my tongue up from the spot and up to his plump, light pink lips. He kissed back in ecstasy, letting out a soft moan before slipping his tongue between my teeth. In return I opened my mouth further, letting him in.
"I love you so much." he murmured against my lips.
"I love you more." I replied...
Suddenly I was just back to laying on my side, facing the wall. Next to me I felt Andy shift, he was still sound asleep. I sighed softly, rolling over and looking longingly at him.
"Why did I have to wake up?" I murmured.
It was darker then dark, almost pitch black. The only light coming from the small wisps of grey that broke under the curtians. Shadows creeped across the walls and his us from the light, the walls glowed softly at the tiny light. Through the darkness I saw the black orbs of Ashley's eyes staring at me, wide open in full attention, his hand laying on top of mine intertwining fingers. When I realized he though I was asleep I quickly closed my eyes again, not wanting to have the awkward moment of surprise staring contest.
I could still feel his eyes on me, dark and almost burning. I opened one eye ever-so-slightly, peering through my eyelashes. Something about his expression showed sadness, like a Mama kitty after her kitten died or a child looking for his mother. His mouth pulled down in a sad little frown and his eyes were softer then they appeared at first glance.
After a while, when I was sure he thought I was asleep again he leaned over, putting his mouth by my ear. "I wish you could've seen my dream." he whispered, brushing the strands of hair off my face. "It was beautiful."
Dream? Is that what he looked sad about? But he said it was beautiful and I should've seen it. I held still, letting him continue.
He started running his fingers down my head softly, making my scalp prickle softly. I prayed that I wouldn't blush or make the slightest movement that gave away that I knew exactly what he was doing.
"The other night dear, when I was sleeping" he sang softly, "I dreamed I I held you in my arms...when I awoke dear, I was mistaken and then I bowed my head and cried."
he paused for a couple seconds, making sure I was "asleep" and continued.
"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy when skies are grey, you'll never know dear how much I love you, please don't take my sunshine away."
He kept stroking my hair, trying to remember the lyrics I bet. He sighed softly and laid his head on his elbow. "Please don't take my sunshine away."
I couldn't help myself. I parted my lips and whispered softly "Johnny Cash?"
He stopped, jumping away from me untill his head hit the wall. I swore softly and held his head. "You heard?"
I nodded, closing my eyes.
We were quiet for a moment, I could feel Ashley's panic rising.
"I'm sorry..." he said, shifting slightly. "I don't know what got into me."
I nodded, opening my wandering eyes. He looked on the verge of tears.
"Can we forget this?" he said, propping his head up on his hands.
"Thats no fun." I said, a smile playing on my lips.
"But..." he sighed softly. "I'm...I'm supposed to be straight, you have no idea how people would react if word got out."
"I'm not a snitch." I said "I don't care who you love, even if it is me."
Ashley stared at me for a second again. "You don't care if I like you?"
"I'm okay with it." I said softly.
He sighed in relief, laying back down and snuggling under the covers and closing his eyes. I took his hand again, holding it by our heads. Ashley looked up at me and smiled, I returned the gesture, idly stroking his index finger with my thumb.
The lunchroom was typical, everyone was being loud and obnoxious, except for the dark kids. Ashley sat across from me, leaning on his elbow and poking at the red and yellow sludge that was supposed to be ravioli or something. I didn't have anything since I didn't have enough money in my account. I sighed softly and took out my Batman notebook and began to draw.
Out of nowhere a tray dropped in beside me, baring the same sludge Ashley had. I looked up to see the kid from the skateboard incident we had a few months go. C I think was his name. Ashley and I looked up him, startled as he kicked back the chair and sat down.
"Remember me?" he asked, a little fast. I moved away from him slightly.
"Yeah. C or something." Ashley said.
He nodded, taking a bite of what you could call food. "Its CC. I didn't get your guy's names."
"Ashley?" CC gave him a confused look.
"My mom wanted a daughter." Ashley grumbled. "It would've been nice to have a unisex name like Jamie."
"I could call you Jamie." CC said, laughing slightly.
Ashley shook his head. I looked back down at my notebook.
"Why doesn't he talk?" CC asked, poking his thumb at me.
I kept scribbling skulls in my notebook.
"Aww Andy's shy." Ashley giggled.
"Am not!" I said, not looking up. "I just don't know him."
"I'm right here." CC said.
"Okay I don't know you." I kept my eyes down.
"Well someones bitchy." he joked. Ashley laughed.
CC took another bite of the red sludgy stuff, grimacing then pushing it away. His eyes wandered down to me. "Whatcha drawing?"
"Batman." I said, finishing the symbol that lay on his chest.
"Andy loves batman." Ashley said.
"Bitch please I'm batman." I said, closing the notebook and holding it against my chest so it looked like the bat symbol was there.
"Nananananananananananana..." CC giggled.
I slipped my notebook back into my bag as the bell rang. We said goodbye to CC and hurried on our way.
"He's pretty nice." Ashley said.
"I told you not all the dark kids are jerks."
Ashley rolled his eyes as we passed the jocks. I glared at them as we passed then suddenly a hand slammed down on both our shoulders.
"Stop right there, freak."
