(mini chapter) Chapter 23 - CC's first concert.

"Alright this is CC, everyone say hello to CC!"
The whole crowd screamed at the top of their lungs, raising their painted hands in the air. Most of them were girls or guys with really long hair, like us. Damn near all the fans had some type of warpaint on. I raised one drumstick in the air, waving to everybody. Jake smiled at me from the side of the stage.
"This is going to be a 2 song warning, so we're going to let CC pick which song." Andy turned towards me. The fans began screaming out song titles.
"Never Give In I guess." I said, spinning a drumstick.
The crowd screamed again, making my ears ring.
"I reason, a victim, I shining beacon in the sky..."

"Hot DAMN my ears are ringing!" I said, sticking my pinky finger in my right ear.
"What?" Jake said, packing his guitar.
"HE SAID HIS EARS ARE RINGING!" Andy said, squeezing past us.
"I can't hear worth shit!" Jinxx said.
I shook my head roughly, trying to get the high pitched whine out of my head. "Ugh...can we go back to the bus?"
Jake laughed.
"What?"
"You'll be torn apart!" he said "wait untill midnight when the concert is over."
"Its 11 something..." I said, glancing at my phone.
"And?" Ashley said. "I'd rather stay here then be torn apart by 14-somethings."
Jinxx tossed everyone a water bottle. I drank all of mine in a few seconds. The next band started up, only screams from both the crowd and the band we're heard from the stage, plus some unsteady electric guitars and soft drums.
"Whose playing now?" Jake asked.
"Pink Monkeys or some shit. Unsigned band" Andy said, pouring water on his mane.
I sat down on the crappy leather back-stage sofa, leaning back. I was insanely tried, screaming was giving me a headache and I wanted to sleep badly.
Jake sat down next to me, leaning on my shoulder. I rested my cheeks on the top of his head.

"CC CAN YOU SIGN THIS!?"
"CAN I HAVE A PICTURE?!"
"CC! HEY!"
Holy shit! They weren't kidding when they said you'd get attacked by fangirls. I signed almost everything that they asked me to, papers, posters, arms, shoulders, boobs, everything. Half a million photos and signatures later we finally got onto the bus. Jake helped me up the stairs, Andy hung out the door for a second and waved at the kids mobing around the bus.
He boosted me into my bunk (the one above his) then climbed in after me, shutting the door and pulling the curtian so the bunk was nice and dark. I ran my hand over my face, whiping sweat and tap water off that I used to clean my face off. Jake took my hand and moved it away from my face then kissed me for the first time in a while. My eyes fluttered shut as I kissed him back, he slowly pushed me down and climbed on top of me.
"J-Jake--"
"Hm?" he said, kissing my neck now.
Painfully, I pushed him by the shoulders carefully. "Not tonight, they might hear."
"The door is soundproof though!" he protested.
"I just...I'm sorry." I kissed him again "I'll still cuddle with you."
He shrugged. "Fair game."
I wrapped my arms around him, lining our bodies up. He held my hands, kissing each finger as I fell asleep...
